Summer Adventures: Week 1

Sections/Themes
All students will enjoy this week's themes and a variety of activities, but section options help us plan small group rotations with specialized activities.
- Deep Sea Adventure: Travel deep under the sea for themed projects, crafts, and play.
- DKI Take2 Musical Theatre (performing): In addition to Deep Sea activities, this musical theatre experience features a musical written for kids/teens! Students will spend much of the week learning and rehearsing the musical to show off on Friday.

- "THE JOURNEY OF THE NOBLE GNARBLE" (performed Friday) The ocean floor is filled with the rarest of creatures, but none are as rare as gnarbles. Their fins are small, their tails are floppy, and they have never strayed far from their homes…until now. Journey of the Noble Gnarble is a story of a little gnarble with a big dream, who tries to make it past doubting blyfish, sneaky subbalubbles, and hungry plinks on his way to the surface of the sea. Along the way he befriends the glinny glims who teach him the importance of positivity and determination!
- All sections will spend time inside and outside. This week has both structured activities and open-ended time for kids to learn through play.

Open Studio Extension
Enjoy unstructured time with curated materials, games, books, and pretend play.
- Drop-off as early as you need for AM Ext from 8am-10am.
- Pick-up as late as you need for PM Ext from 4pm-6pm.
- Adds $50 Flat Fee to your Tuition Rate.
Major Requirements & Notes
- Packed lunch required. ALL food/beverages must be PEANUT & TREE NUT FREE.
- Students MUST be completely independent with restroom needs.
- Emergency Forms will be sent separately and due before your participation. Your payment indicates you agree to policy/procedure. All events subject to class size minimums.
