This evening a class of wonderful kindergarten through fifth graders took the stage for our first Drama Kids International class at SPLAT. We had a lot of fun getting to know new friends and acting up together!
Just like our SPLAT programs, Drama Kids programs are educational and fun! Drama Kids provides trained instructors, like myself, with an extensive and comprehensive curriculum. While kids are learning and developing creative thinking styles and skills, they are also developing other crucial life skills, like public speaking.
Today we started out by getting to know our class and learning our Drama Kids rules. We then did some fun ad-libbing, speech, and movement exercises. Our class ended with a whole group improvisation that was a lot of fun! Everyone did great today.
